Terms of Use

By creating an account and using the Just Platters school lunch ordering portal, you agree to these terms.

Your account

• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials private.
• Your account is for a specific school. Orders submit to that school only.
• You must provide accurate information about your children.

Orders and payment

• Menus show meal options and prices for each week. Prices are set by the school's menu and are shown before you pay.
• Each weekly menu has a stated cutoff time. Orders can no longer be changed or cancelled after the cutoff for that week.
• Payment is processed through Stripe. Submitting payment confirms your order and charges your card for the displayed amount.
• A confirmation email is sent once payment succeeds. If you do not receive one, contact us before assuming the order was placed.

Meals

• Menu items may change due to ingredient availability, allergies, or other circumstances. The school reserves the right to substitute an item of equal value if needed.
• You are responsible for advising the school of your child's dietary needs. We are not liable for allergic reactions arising from information you did not provide.

Acceptable use

• Do not share your password or allow others to use your account.
• Do not attempt to access another person's account or another school's data.
• Do not use the portal to send abusive or unlawful content.

Data and privacy

Our handling of your information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

Service availability

We work to keep the portal reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Temporary downtime for maintenance or technical issues may occur. Where an order cutoff passes during downtime, contact us and we will assist on a best-effort basis.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Just Platters is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the portal, including missed meal service caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be shown for acknowledgment when you next sign in.
